Call For Participation

We want to hear from you!

In keeping with our goal to educate and connect New York Metro Area Networking professionals, we are initiating an open call for participation in future NYNOG events.  Our vision is that this is a rolling process, NYC never sleeps and neither do we.

NYNOG is a platform for sharing ideas and learning from the community, please save the product pitches for the boardroom.  We are looking for academic or practical talks that review a networking technology topic area.  Talks should run approximately 20-30 minutes in length and we will likely schedule two talks per meetup.

Potential topics areas:

  • Metro Area Wireless and 5G

  • Network Performance

  • Network Management and Operations

  • Network Security

  • Software Defined Everything (SDN/NFV)

  • Network Automation

  • Cloud and DC Colocation

  • Converged and Hyper-converged Systems

  • Skills development for a changing technical landscape

  • Other - if it’s of interest to you, someone else in the melting pot likely wants to hear it too

Please be prepared to give us a short overview of the talk, any special requirements (demo/panel/etc.), and a few sentences on why your talk is important to the NYC networking technology community.
