Christian Koch, President
Christian currently leads Core Network Planning and Implementation for Pilot Fiber, an Internet Service Provider that provides better internet to businesses in New York City and now Philadelphia.
Passionate about the Internet and bringing people together, he has also served on the Board of Directors for the Open-IX Association, a Non-Profit organization that develops and promotes Interconnection and Datacenter Standards. Over the past 15 years he has held various Strategy and Engineering roles at organizations such as Megaport, Microsoft, Twitter, and QTS Datacenters.
Teresa Dietrich, Vice President
Teresa Dietrich is currently Chief Technology Officer at Namely in NYC. Her 20 years of experience in the Internet industry include her nearly 9 year at WebMD in Technology Operations and Security. She spent nearly 10 years at AOL in Network Engineering and Architect roles. Her passion for Operational Excellence, Technical Innovation and Web Scale Systems has been the focus of her career. An engineer at heart, she loves solving problems using a combination of people, process and technological changes. Her personal passions lend themselves to travel, fitness, wellness, food & wine, education and of course, technology.
Sagi Brody, Secretary
Sagi Brody is the Chief Technology Officer of Webair, responsible for all technical infrastructure, design, and operations. Under his leadership, the company has evolved from a web host into one of the top 100 high-touch, agile Cloud and fully managed infrastructure service providers in the world. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Brody has been involved in all aspects of the hosting and data center industry. His expertise spans cloud computing, network design and build, site surveys and selection, data center build-out and upgrades, server automation, green data center technologies, resource management, staffing, and budget planning.
Jacob Rosenberg, Treasurer
Jacob is currently Head of Infrastructure Engineering at Bloomberg LP, the global financial information and news company. His group is responsible for all aspects of the production infrastructure behind Bloomberg’s customer products and services including systems, storage, networks, cloud, and automation. His previous roles included leadership of infrastructure, SRE, and architecture at companies including Two Sigma, Comcast and AOL.
David Temkin, Director
David Temkin is the Vice President of Network Strategy and Architecture at Netflix. He is responsible for the network architecture of Netflix's distributed content caching systems. Previously he managed the corporate Network Engineering teams as the Network Engineering Manager, responsible for global data and voice networks as well as CDN relationships. He also held the position of Director of IP Product Development and Engineering at Telx. He was responsible for all Layer 2 & 3 product architecture, design, and deployment across the Telx portfolio of data centers. Previously, he spent time at Yahoo! as the Layer 4-7 Network Architect, responsible for network load balancing. He also designed and built out the global network for Right Media, an online ad serving startup that was later acquired by Yahoo!. He is also the Chair of the NANOG Board as well as the Treasurer of the Open-IX Association.
Andrew Baird, Director
Andrew is a Marketing and Product Leader with over 15 years of experience, and he currently leads marketing efforts at TierPoint, a national data center and managed services provider. Before TierPoint, Andrew launched the first B2B product at Audible, an Amazon company, and before Audible he was the Head of Marketing for Telx (acquired by Digital Realty). A certified UX practitioner from the startup community, General Assembly, Andrew’s passion resides in making an optimal and innovative user experience. Andrew led Telx/Digital Realty to the launch and success of the MarketplacePORTAL and event, MarketplaceLIVE. Andrew comes from PTGi (formerly Arbinet) where he was the Product Manager of thexchange, an online trading platform for voice minutes. Prior to Arbinet, Andrew studied Marketing and English at Rutgers University, and he worked in the financial services industry at Oppenheimerfunds. In his spare time, he consults for local non-profits to optimize their marketing presence.
Neal Secher, Director
Neal Secher is a Senior Vice President and Head of Networks and Data Center Modernization at State Street Corporation. He has spent his career working at leading firms within the Financial Services industry in both technical and leadership roles. Neal has extensive experience with designing, building, and operating infrastructure for cloud architectures, large-scale data centers, latency-optimized network fabrics, software defined networks, secure business-to-business and Internet perimeters, and advanced instrumentation tool-sets.
Neal is a member of the board of directors at the Open Networking User Group (ONUG) and the New York Network Operators Group (NYNOG). Additionally, Neal sits on multiple vendor technical advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at industry events. He holds a BA from New York University.
Prior to joining State Street, Neal served as Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure Architecture at BNY Mellon. He has also past roles as the Executive Director and Head of Network Architecture at Morgan Stanley and Senior Vice President and Head of Network Architecture and Engineering for the Systematic Trading Infrastructure group at Citi.
